The ESAB PAPR system (powered air-purifying respirator) in combination with ESAB helmets offers strong protection against fumes and dust during welding, grinding, and sanding processes. The unit operates with the latest PCB technology (printed circuit board), allowing the welder to adjust the airflow from 170 l/min to 220 l/min to suit environmental conditions and the application. The function is indicated by an LED airflow indicator on the top of the unit. The PAPR unit is equipped with a visual and audible filter lock, as well as low battery warnings, providing additional safety for the welder. The strong construction materials of the PAPR unit also make it extremely robust and suitable for all types of intensive welding applications.The PAPR unit has been tested with the following ESAB helmets: EN12941 Sentinel A50 (TH2), Savage A40 (TH3), Warrior Tech (TH3), G50 (TH3), G40 (TH3), G30 (TH3) and F20 (TH2).
